The foundation has been poured! "Foundation" seems to me to
mean floor but I'm told it really means walls--the basement walls, to be
exact.

I'd wondered how they were going to keep the
cement from spilling out--and now I see the boards they used to
cap off the ends. |

I don't understand this part. The front
corner is the garage- and the part coming into it is the
basement. Why would the garage need such a high foundation
wall? This is one we'll have to ask the builder to explain
to us. |
