Bricks are complicated!
February 4th
We went back to the showroom on Friday and looked at tan bricks.
I forgot my camera but did take it when we went looking at houses again.
I don't know if we're that close to picking a brick, but we're
running out of time. If I had to pick today (and it were just up
to me), I'd pick the Faulkston. I think Stan is leaning towards a
tan brick, though. It makes it harder that we don't know the names
of the bricks we looked at on houses and that pictures don't always
capture the color right.

This one is called Dover Grey. We didn't
like it as well in person as in the showroom. |

I never knew it would be so hard to select a brick, but it is.
After picking out several bricks in the showroom, we were sent to go out
looking at houses to see the bricks in person. (Or, is that "in
house"?)

"In house", we found this one to be too worn looking. |
We drove by houses and couldn't find some of the samples, but here's
what Faulkston looks like on the bank:

And then, just to be ornery, Stan decided he liked this tan brick
house which wasn't like anything we looked at in the brick
showroom.
