Ground has been broken...
...since the first morning. Well, actually, it was
9:00 on Wednesday morning. We weren't there, but our new neighbors
told us that they started at 9:00 am. By lunch time, there was a
Huge Hole where our house is going to be. Next to that
hole was a Huge Pile of Dirt.
According to Jordan, a Huge Hole is the 4th greatest invention of all
time. Huge Piles of Dirt did not even make the top 10, since Holes are
inherently cooler and Huge Holes have considerably more comedic
value than Huge Piles.

Wouldn't it be fun to drive an excavator? We're going
to lose some of the saplings, though. |
