Floor Joists are in!

The site is muddy.  It is likely to rain today.  But they crew seemed pleased when I offered up some chocolate chip cookies (from Kroger).  In fact, I was told, "You're going to spoil us."  That's okay—they're building our house in cold, wet conditions, so it won't hurt any to spoil them a bit.

They got a lot done yesterday!

From the front of the house, looking at the floor joists that have been put in. Looking down the to-be stair area.  I peered through the daylight window into Bethy's room.  The bathroom framing isn't done yet.  Apparently, they go back and finish that after the house is roofed in.

When I came to this section on the back of the house, I couldn't figure out why the floor joists went past the edge of the house. Oh--it's the cantilevered bay window for the breakfast nook! More lumber (not wood) has been delivered).
