The second floor is going up

We stopped by at lunchtime today and the second floor is coming along!

Standing in the kitchen looking up at the floor joists of the breakfast nook. Stan told me to take a picture here because he liked the composite beam.  The house is definitely not going to be sagging here!

Stan took this picture of me!

From the top of the new stairs

Stairs!  There are stairs to the "upstairs", although there isn't an upstairs yet!

Stan took these from the top of the stairs..  For each picture, he rotated a bit to the right.

Facing the great room fireplace Facing the kitchen.  The open area is the chase. From the top of the stairs, towards the laundry area.

When we go there, a pickup truck was trying mightily to backup the "gravel" driveway.  The gravel driveway is a bit the worse for wear, thanks to the mud and the snow, so it was a bit tough going.  They finally managed, though. These are waiting to be put up later, I assume.
