They've sealed the foundation, but
They're also moving dirt. I'm not quite sure what they're moving
where, but it's clear that dirt has moved since yesterday!
It was raining so hard that Stan didn't get out of the car to
take a close-up picture. |
I'm not as smart as Stan, so I did get out and traipse through
the mud. |

The dirt has been moved around a bit--it's getting closer to
garage level. |
Can we say muddy? Sure. I knew we could. Not
only did my "muddy shoes" get muddy, my jeans got muddy.
So did the clean shoes I tried to change back into. So did
my sweater. |
I stopped by to drop off some donuts for the crew--but they weren't
there. It was too muddy to move dirt. (Or rather, too
muddy). While I was there, the guy in charge of earth movement
stopped by to be sure that the utilities had been marked. He said
he'd come back to do the sewer pipes on Saturday. I gave him the
donuts.
